Facebook Data Mined - Organizing for America behind it with Committed to Vote Challenge

by Daniella Nicole

It is spreading like wildfire across Facebook: posts supposedly from friends on the walls of others containing a link to a site with a question such as “Are you Committed to Vote?” The link goes to BarckObama.org, which is the website of the progressive group, Organizing for America.

That, in and of itself, is not a big deal. What comes next, however, is.

This is My Rant

by Daniella Nicole

There are a lot of things going on in the world as of late that have caused me to think about my beliefs and values. These things have also caused me to take a step back and observe, in horror, at the sheer stupidity, lunacy and downright evil (yes, I said it: EVIL), that is going on around me.

In a moment of disgust, I compiled a 9-point rant. I shared it first on Facebook, now I’m sharing it with you. Here is my rant:

1-If job losses were hitting illegals hard, they wouldn't still be here, with more pouring over the borders. Ergo, they are still getting hired. Ergo, they are taking American jobs. Fix border, fix immigration, see more job openings.

2-Why is 'fair wages for illegals' even a discussion? The word 'illegal' should present sufficient evidence that they have NO 'right' to wages of ANY type in America. How dare they complain when they are stealing work, stealing wages and breaking federal law even being here! Those who defend them and help them are aiding, abetting and condoning criminal behavior. Period.

3-The federal government 'boycotting' and 'suing' AZ? Time to clean house. Who do they think they are to punish anyone for upholding the laws they enacted but are failing themselves to uphold? If anyone should be punished, its THEM. In fact, since they refuse to do the basic things they are supposed to, how about we boycott THEM? No federal funding, no tax revenue, file lawsuits, etc? Its time to impeach, jail, sue, etc. They are out of control and I believe, at times, acting in a treasonous manner.

4-What business is it of California or Mexico what Arizona does? Not that long ago California was throwing a hissy fit about 'interference' over Proposition 8 from states, people and organizations outside of California. What right do they have to protest Arizona for upholding FEDERAL law? Either take up the federal law with The Annointed One or shut the crap up. We don't care what you think-and you certainly are in no position to tell any other state what to do.

5-Speaking of Mexico. Calderon can shut the crap up until he opens Mexico's southern borders so anyone can come in, take what they want and trash the place. He doesn't like our laws? Boo friggin hoo. His are worse. Freaking hypocrite. Anyone who gives this creep a public platform should be smacked. Hard.

6-Obama is a ego-maniacal, lying, socialistic wimp.

7-When this administration points elsewhere to shift the blame or attention, know that:

a) there is WAY more to the story
b) they are up to something worse elsewhere
c) either directly or indirectly it is going to cost you money and freedom/rights

8-I don't give a rat's backside who or what you worship. Just don't think I will go along with being forced into your beliefs or stand idly by while you plan to murder me and those like me. I am not afraid of you, I won't be bullied and I won't be intimidated. In fact, I will fight back and you will not like it.

9-You don't have to agree with me or like me. You won't, however, shut me up. Additionally, I will continue to fight for your right to offend people with your beliefs, regardless of how you feel about mine. I'm an American-its what we do.

"You Don't Know What it's Like to be a Black Man . . ." Is it Really a Black and White Issue?

The claim that Hillary Clinton or anyone else who is not a black man cannot possibly understand or relate to 'the experiences of the black man' is ludicrous and faulty in logic.

By that same logic, the person making the statement could not possibly understand or relate to the 'experiences of a white woman' or anyone else who is not a black man - which means they have no frame of reference for comparison, which is needed in order to make their statement true.

You don't need to roll in a pigsty to know it stinks, and you don't have to go into space to know that stars are beautiful. As humans we have been given a unique ability to learn about and understand things we do not directly experience, but that we observe. As humans, we also have a unique gift for being able to show compassion for the pain others suffer - that we, ourselves, have not.

You don't have to be a white woman to understand that being treated unfairly is not fun. You don't have to be a black man to know that it really stinks to be judged upon how you look.

And frankly, there is no way to possibly 'know' the experiences of everyone else - as everyone has a unique experience. My experiences as a white woman are not the same experiences as any of my female friends who are white - though we have a few in common.

We are all people, which makes us each uniquely different. It is not our race that defines us, but the choices we make when the challenges life throws at us all come our way.

What do YOUR choices say about YOU?

Obama is at it Again - 'Typical' White People Remark

In a radio interview on March 20, 2008, Obama's racist views were again shown for what they are when he commented that his white grandmother was a 'typical white person' in her feelings/reactions to blacks.

Gimme a break.

The Obama camp is shouting about racism and stereotypes needing to be overcome - and yet here he is, with his own lips, spewing stereotypical racism.

Listen to it HERE.

For the record, 'typical' is defined as

    • exhibiting the qualities or characteristics that identify a group or kind or category; "a typical American girl"; "a typical suburban community ...
    • conforming to a type; "the typical (or normal) American"; "typical teenage behavior"

From: Worldnet.princeton.edu

Racism is defined as

Stereotype is defined as

This 'typical white person' has no problem with people of other races, creeds, colors, religions, etc. I only have problems with idiots, racists, and other stupid and/or hateful people. When I see you coming, I won't care what color you are - but I will care if you act in a way that I perceive as creepy or threatening - which can occur regardless of your gender, race, creed, color. Hassle me and I will kick yer tushy. I am an equal-opportunity creepy hassler butt-whooper. Everyone else gets a smile and a friendly 'hello'.

Is anyone else sick to death of the race card being played over and over and over? If you are running for president of the ENTIRE country, which is comprised of colors and races other than blacks, you need to represent us ALL - yes, even us 'typical white people'. We are all AMERCIANS - you know, the 'melting pot' thing? Try thinking in those terms for a change, Senator Obama.

Which Presidential Candidate is Compatible with Your Beliefs?

Once again an online test has been constructed which is supposed to help users quickly determine which presidential candidate is most compatible with their own views and beliefs. This is based upon the user’s answer selections and the candidates stated views, which may vary widely from their actual voting or practice behaviors/track record.

At the very least, with it narrowed down, it will be easier to focus on one or two candidates and research the real deal behind their campaign before actually voting for them.

15 questions are presented and users rate them by importance according to their own belief system.
To take the test from Minnesota Public Radio, click HERE

I took the test myself, and while many of the candidates were unknown to me, the major players ended up in the actual order in which I had already personally ranked them. That was comforting to me, in some weird way.

While I don’t think those lesser known ones have a real chance of winning, I am now interested in learning more about them, as several of them beat out all of the major players, in my results.

Want some unbiased info about the candidates? Here are some links to check out:

(click on the candidate’s name, then their bio or voting record, etc. This site is a work in progress)

On The Issues (click on the candidate's name to get the scoop on their stand on various issues)

Open Congress (you can track issues, congressional voting records, and more)

Most importantly, please learn the issues, the real deal about the candidates, and vote. We have no right to complain when we have done nothing to improve things for ourselves. Every vote can make a difference, as previous elections have shown.
